银河app苹果版 has established an Emergency Response Plan to provide 银河app苹果版 students, faculty, employees and visitors (the "银河app苹果版 community") with information about 银河app苹果版's Timely Warning Alert, Emergency Notification, Emergency Response Plan (including evacuation procedures), and to provide other general safety guidelines to the 银河app苹果版 community.
The information in this plan will help each individual in the 银河app苹果版 community determine their best response to certain emergency situations, whether on, adjacent to or near an 银河app苹果版 campus.

Every emergency situation is unique and in all cases, 银河app苹果版 community members assume responsibility for their own individual safety and security and should use their own best individual judgment in deciding their actions.
Issuance of a Timely Warning Alert is intended to aid in the prevention of similar crimes and to enable each individual in the 银河app苹果版 community to take personal actions to minimize their risk of falling victim to the same crime or crimes.
Emergency Alerts issued by 银河app苹果版 are intended to assist each individual in the 银河app苹果版 community to take measures to protect him or herself. This plan is prepared and maintained by the 银河app苹果版 police department.
Reporting requirements
银河app苹果版's Emergency Response Plan incorporates generally accepted and recognized best practices of public safety standards and complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, 20 U.S.C. § 1092(f) ("Clery Act"). The term "campus" as used throughout this document includes any 银河app苹果版 building or facility located on 银河app苹果版 property.
The Clery Act requires colleges to timely notify its students and employees whenever there is a violent crime or crimes against persons, or threats to persons or to property occurring on campus that is ongoing or continuing and which may result in a threat to the health or safety of students or employees ("Timely Warning Alert").
The Clery Act also requires colleges to immediately notify the 银河app苹果版 community upon confirmation of a significant emergency or dangerous situation involving an immediate threat to the health or safety of students or employees occurring on campus ("Emergency Alert" or "Emergency Response").
